"My legacy was well trained and experienced enlisted men. I believed in all kinds of training: PQS, Damage Control and Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist training. I often worked with small groups of men to help them complete their courses so that they could advance. I measure my success in the success of my men. My men advanced in highly competitive ratings because they were the men who would go the extra mile and put in the work both within and outside their ratings. I had a good team and we have the awards and in their cases promotions, medals and additional qualifications to prove it. I also feel I assisted many personnel from other departments to improve themselves as well. ADROIT's crewmen were the best team I ever worked with and I miss them."
